Information you provide

Waypoint stores your email address, username, account identifier, sign-in information, trial status, and subscription status so you can access the app. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are not stored in the desktop app.

Payments

Stripe processes subscriptions. Waypoint receives customer and subscription identifiers and payment status. We do not receive or store your full card number.

Location and device data

Chosen coordinates, routes, and connected-device operations are processed on your computer. Map, search, and walking-route providers receive the areas, searches, or coordinates needed to return their services. Waypoint does not sell personal information.

Storage and retention

The app stores a session token and interface preferences on your computer. Account and subscription records remain while your account is active and as needed for security, billing, and legal records.

Your choices

You can sign out from the app, cancel a subscription from the account screen, and request account deletion through the support contact shown on your Stripe receipt.
